I am a specialist physician and a mother of four. My day begins at home with four children’s voices, continues in a white coat behind a closed door, and when I come home in the evening the coat comes off — motherhood doesn’t.

Merve is a friend of mine, and I write for Meşgalem’s Inspiration pages as a guest: about working motherhood, the feeling of never quite catching up, and the thing without a name that rises through all the tiredness.
